Educational Programs
NH Region Ski Patrol maintains a large professional consultation staff, with a breadth that spans across all patrolling disciplines, and a depth that can be customized to meet any needs required by Patrol Directors or individual members.
OEC
Outdoor Emergency Care program includes two diffrent educational programs: The OEC emergency medical responder courses and the OEC Module for the SENIOR PROGRAM.
MTR
Mountain Travel & Rescue offers several levels of mountaineering and extreme terrain rescue work. Graduates are able to volunteer for FEMA disaster work, join SAR teams and enjoy the backcountry.
OET
Outdoor Emergency Transportation includes basic Toboggan Enhancement Seminars, the SENIOR Ski & Toboggan training program and Instructor training for local patrols.
Avalanche
Teaches snow sciences at various levels with practical work in slide zone rescue. All NSP AVA courses meet national requirements. All the NSP AVA levels are prerequisite for becoming a forecaster.
ID
Instructor Development is staffed to disseminate and maintain a uniform teaching foundation to future NSP Instructors. Its on-staff Instructor Trainers conduct quality assurance audits and deliver Continuing Ed.
Nordic
Teaches patrolling in the backcountry where rescue times can streatch from one hour to one day. Much of their program includes MTR and AVA practices. They also include testing for SENIOR as well as Certified Master.
