Every year NH Region holds elections. Last season it was for Southern and Central Section Chief. This autumn the Region will be holding elections for Northern Section Chief and Region Director. Both candidates featured below are running unopposed.

I am submitting my application for NH Region Northern Section Chief. I started my patrolling here in NH at Whaleback Mountain in 1979 as a Jr, Patroller. As I work through the NH Region Director submission process I reminisce on the experience and change I have witnessed in my 45 years of patrolling. I started out with ARC Advanced First Aid, to Winter Emergency Care (WEC) to Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC), an increase in quality management of program delivery to skill enhancements both medical and S&T related. What a ride so far. I am a line patroller and active member participating in programs, training, teaching and service to the skiing/snowboarding public. I have been a volunteer patroller and will continue to be. National Ski Patrol is a brotherhood/sisterhood that combines individuals on a common mission of “Service and Safety” to the skiing/snowboarding and riding public. I am proud to be a member of this organization.
I have been successful in large scale technology initiatives over my 40 years in the IT industry. I bring project management, governance, executive leadership and collaboration to the NH Region. These are important skills that foster and promote continued improvement, collaboration and oversight. I would represent the Northern Section actively listening to members on issues/concerns and improvements and represent you on the Eastern Division Board.
I would be honored to represent and work for the NH Region members working hard to be transparent, collaborative and to enable us to continue providing outstanding programs and improvements for the NH Region members.

Dear NH Region and fellow Patrollers,
I am running for the NH Region Director’s position and would like your support! In almost 30 years of patrolling, I have held both patrol and professional positions within organizations that have molded me to where I am now. I am prepared and would be honored to represent our Region as the RD. I have been involved with Patrol politics at National, Division, Regional and local levels for over 25 years and look forward to leading our organization and Region if given the opportunity. As both a Pro and Geographic patroller, I have had the advantage of seeing the issues from both sides of the fence and can relate. I promise respective issues and viewpoints will be presented to the Division and I will strive to produce solutions to better our organization and region.
On a personal note, my wife Amy is a second-generation Ski Patroller and we currently patrol at Pat’s Peak. We have two sons, Jonah and Jamie, who cannot wait to become YAPs! I am highly involved with the YAP program and continue to run the Killington Patroller school every year. I have been a Division OET Staff member for over 15 years and completed my NSP Certified in 2004. I continue to be involved with the Eastern Division Certified program as the current OET Certified Chair.
Ski patrolling is truly a passion of mine and has been a huge part of my life. I would love to continue to use that passion to help drive our region for years to come!
