Check your mailboxes for the latest issue of Ski Patrol magazine Fall 2023 issue. The interview with Patrick Stanton – outgoing National Avalanche Program director – is a great read with some in-depth info on the A3 – NSP relationship and positioning of the various education tracks.
I also ask that you take a moment to read the memorial for Paul Souder on page 96. I had the honor of working with Paul on the Sandia Peak Ski Patrol at the start of my patrol journey. His approach to patrolling and life in general had a positive impact on me and many others.
