This year's annual Mountain Travel & Rescue Enhancement Seminar topic is LAND NAVIGATION Continuing Education Seminar. Land Navigation is a perishable skill and requires practice. Join us on this one-day seminar.
Newcomers and interested non-members are welcome, even though this is listed as an MTR continuing ed event, where we start with classroom work then head out in the field to practice under the guidance of the Region's and Eastern Division's MTR Staff. This one-day event counts as a Senior Elective.
Map and compass work will be the primary topic, area maps will be provided. GPS Units and a compass will be provided, however, if you have your own please feel free to bring your own.
We show up "Rain or Shine," so be prepared with rain gear and good hiking boots with gators to stay dry and warm (upon registration we will send you a list of supplies and books).
LOCATION: Shawnee Peak Ski Area, 119 Mountain Road, Bridgton Maine
Everybody is welcome, register your friends and bring them to the course, the field exercises will amaze, everybody will learn a great skill.

This is a full credit Eastern Division course, Eastern Div NSP members must enter their NSP ID Number and their Resort three digit ID (check your membership card, the 3-digit resort ID begins with a an "E"). All non-Eastern Division members please select the non-member price. Thank you.
