Her name is Marta M. Sprout and she was a ski patroller.  For those of you who don’t recognize the name, I’ll help you out.  Marta was a patroller with the old Ragged Mountain Patrol in NH.  Marta, her husband Dennis (also was a member of the old Ragged Mountain Patrol, now a member of McIntyre Patrol in NH) and daughter Haley now live in Corpus Christi, Texas where her writing has expanded beyond historical nonfiction to encompass a range of fascinating genres in both film and book publishing.
